In3activa Convention of translators and interpreters (CITI version 1, revision 5, "The Elections")
V. CONVENTION OF PROCEDURES
V.5. The electoral procedure
[<<][>>]
Art.62: Candidatures
  1. The exercise of the trusteeship is incompatible with an electoral mandate. The trustees could not be candidates to mediators.
  2. The mandatory conditions for a candidate are:
    1. To be registered in the census of voters;
    2. To add a number of voters' signatures, corresponding to the Representation Factor (for example, if the R/F is 5 per 1, then 5 signatures are necessary to be candidate)
  3. Consolidated candidatures are allowed, for which several candidates will stand as mutual signatories, and will present themselves to the elections under the same group name, rather than doing this individually. The group is made of an ordered list members, in a number lower or equal to the F/R (for example, if the F/R is 5 to 1, a consolidated group may have up to 5 members). The election of a consolidated candidature is interpreted like the nomination of all candidates in the group, and each of them receives the same number of votes.
  4. The TA manages a public registry of candidates that indicates:
    1. The candidate's name and district.
    2. Languages spoken, written and read;
    3. An Internet address for electoral usage.
    4. If necessary, the group name of the consolidated candidature.
  5. The TA will make available to candidates or united groups a permanent space to exhibits their programs. In the same way, the TA will allow the publication, on easily accessible spaces, of any verifiable information about the candidates, from whatever source.
